Quote of the Day
I think I'm going to start posting quotes of the day in my blog, or rather quotes of the days I actually post LOL! There are so many funny things I hear in the course of the day and they just get stuck in my mind.
Today's is from the Fawlty Towers marathon I was watching last night. There are so many to choose from, but this is one of my favorites, taking place after a man has died in his sleep and Basil didn't notice when he went to deliver his breakfast:
Dr. Price: Do you mean to tell me you didn't realize this man was dead?
Basil Fawlty: People don't talk that much in the morning... Well look, I'm just delivering a tray, right? If the guest isn't singing "Oh What A Beautiful Morning", I don't immediately think "Oh there's another snuffed it in the night." Another name in the Fawlty Towers Book of Remembrance. I mean this is a hotel, not the Burma Railway. I mean it does actually say "Hotel" outside, you know. Perhaps I should be more specific. What about "Hotel for people who have a better than fifty percent chance of making it through the night"?
That is all for now :)

I love Fawlty Towers too, especially the episode with Mrs Richards! "What do you expect to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Herds of wildebeast sweeping majestically across the plains?!" ;o)

Love, love, love Fawlty Towers! We bought my parents the dvd set for Christmas (so we'd have something to watch when we go to their house to visit).
Have a safe trip to Florida to see your family...Merry Christmas!!
